If you are in business or have an organization you need a website.

If you already have a website you probably want a new look or better functionality.

Getting a website doesn’t have to take months anymore because the technology has advanced so much, what previously took 3-6 months now takes 3-6 weeks (if that long).

Even though the timeframe has been cut down, the quality is better. You no longer have to wait for your webmaster to update the site. You can do it yourself without being afraid you will break something.

Today’s websites are simple, beautiful, and functional. Your visitors, customers, and potential clients won’t leave frustrated because they can’t find what they want. You can rest assured you phone will ring and your business will be patronized because your information gateway is top-notch and user friendly.

How do you get a website that says you are serious about your business? The first thing to do is contact me to discuss your vision. If you have no idea what you want, don’t worry, because I can help you come up with the perfect idea for you.

If you are still not sure about contacting me right now consider these basic elements of a great website.

Content – The written portion of your site that gives the visitor information about what you can offer them.

Images – A good balance of images shows visitors who you are, what you offer, and serves to break up the written words. Images make viewing your website a pleasant experience. Your images can be from your camera or from stock photography.

Forms – You likely want your visitors to contact you about your services, to make a reservation, or to request further information. A form is the way to open the lines of communication in a non-threatening way. The visitor is in control of the experience, which shows you are not too pushy.

Payment Systems – If you are selling a product (or service) you will want a payment system. Many people use PayPal or other merchant service to accept credit cards or bank drafts. Making it easy for customers to buy your product or service is important for business and to keep people coming to or referring others to your site.

Email Capture – To stay in touch with visitors to your site and turn them into potential customers get their email address. You should offer something of perceived value in exchange for their information. Your offering could be tips, coupons, specials, or a report. Staying in contact with your visitors is a good way to create warm contacts who are open to doing business with you.
